Our Story
Let me tell you the story of Rena, my new brand of Moroccan-inspired clothes born in our workshops in Casablanca.
I grew up and lived in Casablanca until I was 18 then I lived in several European capitals, like Paris, London where I spent many years working in the Finance industry, Madrid and Milan.
After having been out and about exploring the world, both professionally and personally, today I am naturally coming back to my roots and heritage with RENA, which is short for my mother’s 40 year old maison de couture Renata, but also stands for Renacimiento in Spanish, Renaissance in French, Reconnection in English.
The idea behind my first line is my personal interpretation of the Moroccon caftan and how to bring this beautiful and rich traditional heritage into my modern lifestyle.
So I came up a kaftan that is totally versatile, wearable in different ways for different kind of occasions, always in a very personal way.
A unique piece, that we have spent time imagining individually and conceiving our workshop in Casablanca, that then spent a full week
under the hands of a single maalem.
Like a jewelry piece that you connect with and make it yours. A special piece, that makes you feel like the special woman you are. Something truly beautiful.
